Care and placement

Place the post on a level, dry surface with enough space for your cat to stand and stretch. Check the base and pole before use and keep the materials away from prolonged moisture. Remove loose fibres or surface debris when needed. Replace the post when the sisal or structure is visibly worn. Introduce it near a familiar resting area so your cat can investigate the new scratching station at its own pace.
